Why We Don't Work For Free

We are amenable folks, and there are many reasons why we will take on a project, but we don’t work for free. There are lots of projects out there that offer “terrific opportunities” or “a potentially lucrative payoff [one day]”. No thanks; our local shops won’t accept a deferred payoff and we won’t either.

We’ll happily meet with you to discuss your project and what we might be able to do for it, but beyond that we don’t do freebies or deferred salary work. We’re rather fond of eating and our children insist on having shoes.

That said we will negotiate a fair rate with you. There are projects we fall in love with and we will do all we can to come to a fair arrangement to work on them. Money is not everything but we do value our time and our skills.
